We are pleased to announce that Patrice Jaskiewicz has joined the staff at the EMS Council! Patrice has accepted the position of Administrative Assistant. In addition to calling the office, she may be contacted at p.jaskiewicz@ecemsc.org .

It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Nancy "Taffi" Spencer. Taffi was active in her home town with the Coventry Volunteer Fire Association, as well as the Eastern CT EMS Council. She served on the regional training committee and was Secretary of The Board of Directors. She will be missed greatly by those who knew her.

The Council officers have been elected for the 2007-08 Fiscal Year. Eastern CT EMS Council Board of Directors Officers: L. Hamilton Foote, President Carl Kvist, Vice President Jodi Blais, Vice President Taffi Spencer, Secretary J. David Olsson, Treasurer Barry Wojtcuk, Past President The officers will serve from June 2007-May 2008. We congratulate them and thank them for being dedicated to our EMS system.

The Council website Bulletin Board is in operation! You may access it at "http://www.ecemsc.org/forum/" or click on the "EMS Forum" button, You must email us at the Council for an "invitation code", then click on the "register" link and fill in the forms and you will be all set! The invitation code is necessary to prevent spammers.

The Eastern CT EMS Council now has a listserve available! Some people refer to it as a mailing list, too. Whatever you choose to call it, it is free for everyone! If you want to be on the list serve, send an email to "contact@ecemsc.org" to be placed on it! Please include your real name and affiliation in your email. For those of you who don't want to have a lot of email coming in, we have the discussion board, ie Forum, on the website as well. The Council thanks David Delbiondo for doing this for us! His support in getting our web based services up and running has been phenomenal!
