The Eastern CT EMS Council, Inc. is staffed by two full-time paid personnel. The key to our ability to accomplish many of our progressive programs, guidelines, and other projects is through the large and diverse network of volunteers. Each month, the BLS Training Committee, Mobile Intensive Care Committee, Mass Casualty Committee, Public Information and Education Committee, two Subregional Councils, Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors devote their time and efforts addressing the needs of the Emergency Medical System in eastern Connecticut.

Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, EMT-Intermediates, EMTs, MRTs, and citizens from different backgrounds are active in the development of the EMS System. These volunteers represent local area hospitals, municipal, volunteer, and commercial EMS providers, as well as local businesses - working together for the betterment of patient care.
